Character Name: El'ar [ Ellyar ]
Age: Nineteen
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Homosexual
Rank: Weyrling Greenrider; Tailor
Craft Specialty: Jackets; dress making; tailoring; not good at dyeing or embroidery
Residence: Benden Weyr
Appearance: Despite Ellyar's...Feminine tendencies, for all intensive purposes he does appear quite handsome in the correct light – which is usually always considering his attention to detail in his appearance at times (when he's not suffering from the Weyrwoman of all hangovers). One thing to note about Ellyar is that he will never been seen in clothes that do not suit him, or fit him, no matter if they be working clothes, gather clothes, or just something he dragged from the bottom of his draw. He has an obsession with making sure that all his clothes fit perfectly (yes, even that dreaded candidate robe) and look smart. Luckily for him he only has to pay to get hold of the fabric for them, and not for the actual tailoring. He would never dream of going to the Weyr Tailor for clothes (and therefore spending unnecessary marks) when he can do it himself to a better standard. Blues and purple are a big favourite of his, but a bit of grey and black never goes amiss either.
Body wise he continues to counter expectations of him. While he is a little on the lean side he's by no means stick thin. There is a certain amount of definition to his frame, but even that isn't exactly much. He doesn't do enough exercise, doesn't work out, doesn't do much work at all, come to think of it, so there's no way he could have any real muscle definition. The muscle that's there is stringy, turns of doing nothing but running away from gamblers not doing anything other than helping him with his stamina. Truly Ellyar could only ever be a runner; then again, he's more torso and arms than legs. On his legs, correction, on one leg (his right one) there's two long lines across his thigh starting at the front and dragging diagonally upwards to the side. Hatching incident. At least he's tall, standing roughly five feet nine inches in height, which adds a little bit more to his appearance. Not much, but a little. It helps counteract his face and make him a little bit more manly.
That's not to say his face isn't manly...There are definitely some feminine features to it. For one his mouth: though small the lips are rather big, giving him an almost permanent pout. That's definitely a feature he's not exactly fond of. And his eyes! His dark blue eyes that appear almost grey underneath his heavy brow. He hates them as well. So many girls back home commented that he had the most beautiful eyes, it annoyed him. He may think himself a little bit perfect, but when girls start complimenting him on things he can't control...That gets on his wick a little. In between those tow eyes is a thick nose, not only thick but long. It sticks out of his face like some sort of spike as far as he's concerned. Not pretty, but at the same time he just wouldn't look right without it. The rest of his face is pretty wide and perfectly average and it's all framed by dark brown hair that sits on his head like a finely combed mop. Wonderful.
Personality: He is greedy, if anything that's one of the most prominent personality traits he has. Ellyar likes to have things. He's not really a hoarder since most of what he gets he sells quickly enough, but he likes to get hold of things before other people get the chance, just so he can say that he has. Plus the extra boost of Marks that he gets when he sells them is very much appreciate. Marks mean a hell of a lot to dear Ellie, whatever way he can get them, which was one of the reasons he took up tailoring in the first place. He could get Marks relatively quickly, with very little effort on his part. Or that's how he see his job. You can bribe him to do almost anything as long as you're going to pay him.
Which means he's selfish at best. Ellyar very rarely thinks of anything or anyone besides himself and what he owns. It's one massive black mark against his personality but it's true. He wouldn't care if someone was about to fall out a high window as long as he could save himself. He's entirely the sort of person who'd run away from a fight and leave the person who'd previously been supporting him to get beaten to a pulp, really, he could care less. It does also mean that Ellyar doesn't care what they think about him, either. He can listen to a conversation about himself from someone else's point of view and laugh about it with them. He'll swindle them out of half their Marks later on, but he'll laugh at the time.
See, he's not the sort of guy who believes in second chances, forgiveness, all that sort of sappy rubbish that everyone else goes on about. If someone wrongs him they will pay for it. If someone hurts him, they will pay for it. He might not know how, but he'll try everything to get them to hurt as well. He likes getting revenge, thank you very much, and nothing anyone says will ever change that. Ellyar also knows how to hold a grudge. A very long grudge that he will never let you forget. Fool him once, shame on you, and he'll punch you in the face before you ever get close enough to try and fool him again. He's very good at making friends.
This is where his sarcasm comes in. It's not exactly sarcasm, or wit, or any particular intelligence. He will back talk people, riders, Headwomen, other candidates, simply because he gets a kick out of it. Ellyar likes being a rebel. There's no way he's stupid enough to so much as try to back talk a Weyrleader - and he knows when to stop with the Candidate Master – but with anyone else he'll argue simply because someone will give him the chance to. He may even be on the loosing side, but he won't give up until it's over. His quick tongue has never quite got him out of a situation but it's got him into them. There are plenty of times he's tried to urge someone into a fight, mainly a fight that would involve him getting hurt, but he's always run away before they've actually been given a chance to hit him. He's not used to actually getting hurt. A coward at hurt, if anyone were to actually truly hurt him he would most likely just agree to do anything they wanted.

• Launa, Younger Half-Sister (18) – Holder
• Nauri, Youngest Half-Brother (18) – Holder
• Juena, Youngest Half-Sister (16) – Holder

Jeuna was unmarried when she arrived at the Weyr for a few sevendays – just a few while her brother stood for one of their clutches, just a few, but...Greens do rise often, and when dragon lust takes over their riders...Hr'nash was very charming, he was, and he did try afterwards, but it was not enough for her, not at all. He offered to take care of her once she'd sent him the letter to tell him she was pregnant, but he never replied, engaged as she was to Lars at the time. The man also knew, and he didn't care. The boy would look completely different from him, but it was fine. He promised he'd provide for the child, and that was what he was going to do.
After that everything pretty much went from bad to worse. Ellyar did not look like Lars, which left the in-laws constantly throwing out questions, whispered rumours of an affair, of Lars being the wrong person, of blackmail – all sorts was thrown out there. Ellyar always knew that the man wasn't his father because of that. Which meant he could cause as much trouble as he liked without having to worry about upsetting the relatives. He did his best, the poor boy, but when he got thrown out of the house...He was sort of let in a bit of a mess.
So he turned to the first thing that came to mind: gambling. He was sixteen at the time, but most of the men that were around the gambling tables didn't really mind. They minded when he did actually win money, but other then that they didn't mind. But Ellyar fell into the trap of every gambler: he got into debt. With the owner of the establishment, no less. So he couldn't make the money back since he was banned from the tables. He tried to get a job doing all sorts of thins to make the money, everything manly he could find. Until he struck gold. Sewing was women's work, but helping out in one of the tailor shops...That was easy work, and he picked all sorts of things. Basically an entire trade. With a new trade, new prospects, he legged it as far away from his home Hold as he could get. Not quite the Weyr, but close enough. There, he set up his own business. Which basically consisted of a small room above a shop somewhere that he managed to rent cheap. Everything else he sort of...picked up along the way. He made ends meet, gambled a bit here and there (no where near the amount he had before, fool me once and all that) and 'expanded'. The last Turn of his life was spent making an honest living for the most part, until, the dragonriders came along.
There was no clutch on the sands, they were simply travelling through the area, and stopped for a drink. But Greens aren't known for their intelligence. You! You will make a good candidate. Won't he, J'rao? He will, and he's mine! No other Search can have him. We'll take him with us, won't we? And you can hardly refuse a dragon. His business was picked up and moved to the Weyr, nothing wrong with that. But he hadn't expected the chores that the candidates had to do. He barely had time to finish what he'd already been commissioned for! How was he going to do anything new? When he did manage to get rid of all his old work, he suddenly found he had more free time then he wanted...So he went out to try and find some more commissions. You always needed extra money, of course. But then the rest of the Weyrs vanished. He wouldn't usually mind what happened in other Weyrs, but business started to go down (what little he had) and that made even him lift his head a little bit. What was going on?
Eventually eggs came around, followed by a touching and then finally the hatching. Which he stood at. Avoiding Erion - Er'on - like the plauge. He stood there, criticising everything of course, getting knocked over once before he figured out you had to dodge the dragonets coming towards you. He wasn't quite quick enough to dodge Emath. Nothing major, he managed to walk to to feed the little thing that followed the Blue. But it meant he wasn't holding his breath as the dragonet came out of the Flighty Jester Egg. She stalked the area, before going to the wounded Ellyar. She crooned softly, sounding quite sad that one of her siblings dared to do something Tell Saranith who did this to you, El'arMine. She questioned, voice holding witheld anger. Her eyes turning a violent color wildly. She rather looked like an angry cat, tail seeming to lash out against everyone. She nuzzled him Can El'ar feed Saranith then? If the dragons could have blushed, she would have been doing so by now. His exact reaction to that was: ”Oi, stop moving - ahgfs Green...” Yeah. Intelligant. So the first thing he did as a rider was pull Saranith back from going after and no doubt seriously hurting her sibling. Not a good start.

DRAGON INFO
Name: Saranith
Color: Green [ 95ca60 ]
Age: Zero Turns
Appearance: She's a not too fancy green in a neutral green color that rests against the lighter spectrum of green and fades very slowly to a darker green and are darkest on her whole underside, even of her wings. She doesn't have markings on her whole body, said body looks sleek like the rest of her siblings, although she comes off a bit bulkier with the muscles that gives her the stamina needed to fight thread.
Personality: She's quite the arrogant thing, thinking herself more important than the rest and will never be willingly found in another's company than her Riders. She's a very protective dragon against the man and like Senianth, she would move heaven on earth to rescue her rider. She also hates everything that isn't her Rider, especially those who her Rider doesn't like although she cannot act on it, unless it is to defend. She can stand one or two people close to her if her Rider doesn't mind them, even then it's clear that she only wants El'ar for herself.
Mind Voice: To her rider it sounds perfectly normal, a bit haughty but that can't be too surprising. If she does talk to someone else, if it's really needed, one can clearly hear the hate it carries for them like a volcano that's about to spew magma. It makes everyone recoil and wish that Saranith would stop talking so that they can stop fearing for their lives.
