S'nar had woken up slightly late in comparison to his normal schedule, but it still put the young man waking up with the rest of the weyr. This put him in an interesting mood, but it would probably be okay after filling his stomach with food.
You sharding creature. Why'd you let me sleep in? Why didn't you wake me? He asked as he swatted at the sleep creature on it's ledge. Because YOU were up late last night and needed sleep. don't worry so much you woke up at the same time as everyone else. No go eat, because that's what I'm going to go do The massive bronze said as he got up and drifted off his ledge.
My beautiful Etinath if you wish to join me for breakfast, you are more then welcome. He broadcast to the golden queen.
As his dragon flirted the rider made his way out of his weyr and down the stairs. And finally into the kitchen where he found some activity, but not at much. He yawned and stretched out while looking around for Ceryd or at least an other friendly face. Not seeing anyone yet he walked over to the kitchen proper got a plate and then come meat rolls and a few sweet rolls. He then stood waiting on someone to come in so that he could eat with some one...

Rialana had been up for hours and felt bug eyed for it. That is always what happens when you drink so much klah before bed. Henareth spoke from her perch on the ledge. She had woken long after her rider but was in time to watch the rest of the weyr wake itself. "Well, my Darling, that is what happens when I try and find anything in those blasted records! I have to drink so much klah for otherwise my eyes will droop from fatigue. Has anyone headed down to the Lower Caverns yet? I don't want to eat alone." Henareth snorted, By the time you get your hair dry and your clothing on, there should be many in the dining caverns, but Cinenth's rider is down. Henareth pointedly turned her thoughts away from her rider and continued watching the bowl.
Ria smiled, as a point of fact, her hair was dry and nearly combed and she had laid her close out before she had gotten into the bath. "Silly beast." she muttered under her breath with a smile. Quickly she clipped the hair back in the metal clip her father had given her, and slid into the black weyrhide pants. They were comfortably snug, she hated having bags around her legs though the bright red shirt she pulled on had enough cloth in it to make up for any lack in her pants. With satisfying force, she stamped into the fur-lined black riding boots. "See, Henareth, that didn't take me long at all. Are you hungry?" Henareth looked down at the feeding grounds, No, I will wait until the dew is gone from the grass. If I go now, my kill will soak up all of the dew and become soggy. Ria just smiled.
With quick strides she walked down the weyr tunnel and looked over the bowl, a truly beautiful morning. She stroked Henareth's cheek before she went down the stairs at a near dangerous pace, but she was still having a caffeine high and was full of energy. Her curls bounced as she leaped the last two steps and landed smartly on her feet. She made it to the lower caverns in the same sort of quick manor and once inside was glad to see that there was at least someone the eat with. She collected her breakfast and walked over to him, "Morning, S'nar! You're up nearly before the kitchens. May I join you?"

((Ya'll make me feel bed with your huge posts))
He had been watching the people slowly wander into the dining area and kitchen, engulfed in his own thoughts hoping Ceryd would show up. Even though he wanted to be weyrleader he was falling for Ceryd, but it was up to the dragons now wasn't it.
Oh well Cinenth was in the bowl wooing the queens anyways. He loved all female dragons the same and never cared about his rider's feelings too much. Ci... he began to his dragon when suddenly from behind
"Morning, S'nar! You're up nearly before the kitchens. May I join you?"
Rang out breaking his train of thought and slightly upsetting him and his dragon. S'nar turned to face the speaker and found himself face-to-face with the Senior Weyrwoman. "Oh good morning Weyrwoman." The bronze rider said minding his p's and q's "Yes but so are you." He lightly teased. He hadn't had much dealings with her.
And good morning to you my dear Henareth. Would you like to join me for breakfast? The bronze cooed at the other queen with the same tone and love as he had for the junior queen...
"Yes please join me." he told her as he waited on her to sit before he did. "So why are you up so early?" He asked...

Rialana smiled at the bronze rider as he seemed to stand straiter and jumped to formality as he recognized her. She didn't think much of formality and approved of the light teasing. Rialana smiled and spoke as she sat down across the table from where he was standing. As she motioned for him to sit down as well she spoke, "For goodness sake S'nar, call me Ria. At the breakfast table with barely anyone to see, I prefer to be treated as no more than a junior weyrwoman I got too little time in that capacity."
Henareth looked down at the bronze at the feeding grounds and tilted her head coyly at him How kind of you to ask. I believe that a fresh wherry or two would taste nicely this early this morning. The sun still sparkled on the dew that littered the ground but that was of little concern. She spread her wings and descended gracefully down toward the bronze but with a sudden unexpected agility she changed directions, dropped onto a wherry, and carried it a loft. As she then settled down beside him, she gave another flirter look as she delicately began eating. Pausing in her conversation with the rider Ria broke into Henareth's thoughts, I thought that you were not going to eat until the dew had dried up. Henareth thought back privately to her rider, I was but I too prefer to share my meal.
Privately Ria thought that her dragon was getting close to rising, she didn't tend to flirt so with the bronzes. She jerked her mind back to her conversation with the bronze rider. She grimaced over her klah as she took a small sip and raised her glass to him. "I was reading late into the night and can truthfully say that I drank some three pitchers of klah to get through my reading. To be completely honest, I didn't actually crawl into my furs last night. But what brings you down so early?" As she waited until he answered, she began picking apart her breakfast rolls as delicately as her dragon was picking apart the wherry

As she sat, he did. As he was sitting he banged his knee on the table edge. After skewing his face and rubbing the pounds part the smile returned to his face, until he noticed he had let his own klah mug become empty. "Ah well then Ria, you should know that too much klah is a bad thing. But I guess I am not one to speak about to much klah. In my younger days" although he wasn't very old he still reffered to anything in the past as his younger days, it kept his conversation partner guessing at his age, unless they knew it.
"I was known to down a few pitchers before bed. If you'll excuse me for a moment I shall return with a pitcher," He said as he rose and returned to the kitchen, fighting himself to not limp. He returned shortly with a pitcher of warm klah.
I am in the mood for herdbeast, but maybe a wherry or two until later in the day. he said as he also took a wherry and landed back in the same spot. Once the queen landed he took a bite and comsumed half the bird with one bite. Really must you make a pig of yourself The rider teased Rather a pig then a fool the dragon could have a quick tongue.
Once he had set he pitcher down and had sitten in his chair he poured himself a mug full and offered to fill her's. "Ah but it is no longer early. For the weyr is waking and we will have duties to attend to soon enough." He finished speaking and then took a bite of his sweet roll, but then he hoped that she wouldn't say anything about his habit of eatting sweets before eatting the main meal...

Tactfully Ria ignored the fact that he hit his leg on the table, normally that was not something that one should point out. She lifted an eyebrow at him as he tried to mask his age, she knew that he was younger than her by several turns because she could remember him as a small boy as she was old enough to be helping in the kitchens. She remembered also that he and his dragon were just starting to take on full duties in a wing when she had become Senior Woman. The corner of her lips twitched upward as he bantered on about the klah and she smiled openly as he tried, carefully, to hide a limp as he went for a pot of klah.
Henareth watched the bronze out of the corner of her eye as he made his kill and carried it to where she was eating. He was quick and agile. She liked that and her emotions were spilling unrestrained over to her rider without any words spoken between the two of them. Ria didn't mind admitting it, but her dragon's affection and admiration for his dragon was affecting her as well. Just watching him walk was mesmerizing. With a jerk she came back to herself and was a little frightened. Normally she had too much to worry about with threadfall, so that when her dragon came close to her mating heat, she could still act normally and be unaffected with the moods. She tried to block the emotions from her and was at least successful to the degree that she could ignore the import.
When he returned with the pot, she held out her cup to be refilled and sipped at it carefully since the steam indicated that it was rather hot. She quirked another eyebrow at him but this one was accompanied by a small smile, "Now it may be far from early, but Henareth told me that she saw you come in here when it was still quite early. I fear that my duties for the day only include more records. What do you have slated for the day?" She would like to stay in his company today, but his duties probably wouldn't leave him time to go through records with her nor would she want to tie him down with that task as well. The sweet rolls were good but she didn't want to go back for more so she pulled the cooled porridge toward her and smiled as he attacked the sweet rolls as she had done.

So my golden beauty, this truly is a beautiful morning. Is it not? And to be spending it in such beautiful company makes it all the better. Yes nice healthy wherry, a beautiful queen by me, and Rukbat, but rising. I say it is a very nice morning indeed. the bronze went on. Yes he was flirting and heavily, but lucky for S'nar, or maybe not so much, the rider had learned so block the dragons emotions from him own until a female rose, and even then if it was a green he tended to block it out, unless the green's rider showed interest in him.
He watched ria for a moment and allowed his blue green eyes to study her. He grimaced slightly when his hand went to his face and he felt the stubble that had begun to grow. When her green eyes danced for a moment at the mention of his 'early' rising. "Yes, but you see my dear queen rider I normally awake and moving long before your queen is. So for me this morning was a late morning, but I blame Ci for it." he said mentioning his dragon by his nickname. Well the bronze would hate him later, but oh well. At the mention of the day he pushed his blond locks off his forehead, "First I need to shave and trim my hair. Then I don't think I have much to do. You are the weyrwoman and with no current weyrleader you are the boss and tell everyone what to do."
"I think Ci wanted a swim, but other then that I have no plans." He added as he polished off his breakfast...

OOC:// Hey amber, I have found that a good bronze font color is olive. You just seem to switch colors for Cinenth's voice a lot.
IC:// Ria smiled as he stroked his cheeks, as if now realizing that they were unshaved and his hair was longer than he usually had it. At his words she smiled, "That is true enough, for it is seldom that Henareth is up this early, she tends to sleep later than this. I take it then that Ci" she used the pet name he had conscious, "is your alarm to wake in the morning."
Henareth had finished her wherry and stretched out on the ground, not feeling like eating more. She crooned back to Cinenth as he flirted with her, fully appreciating the comments that he bestowed on her. A sly glint flicked across her eyes and she was suddenly on her feat and then in the air. She called back a challenge to him to follow her as she arrowed to the lake. She wanted a swim to wash away the sand from her couch and that of the wet hunting grounds. Diving strait down, she slipped into the water, causing small waves to lap at the bank. Was he daring enough to follow her? she mentally called.
Ria grimaced as he reminded her of her responsibilities. She had been sad when her current weyrmate had died, but she couldn't help that and hadn't been all that attached to him, shards they had barely been weyrmates for a month before it had happened. "As a point in fact, I am sick of being in charge of all the fighting wings and can't wait until someone else can take the job." It was a sort of challenge to match that of her queen to his bronze. She smiled then as she saw in her mind's eye her dragon diving, knowing that the bronze would probably follow. "Well, I think our dragons might be having their bath's before we have finished our klah. Do object then to searching records with me after you properly control your hair?" She couldn't help teasing him about it, she didn't mind the longer hair, which was by no means the long ponytail some riders sported, or about his stubble covered cheeks.

((I change because sometimes just putting bronze doesn't work. Also because i don't like to keep things the same))
He frowned softly when she smiled at his 'overgrown' hair. She looked as beautiful as she always did. "Yes Ci is my alarm, but we had a slightly late night, so we slept in some. His foot had fallen asleep so he rubbed the leg gently.
Cinenth finished his after the queen as a good measure. My dear queen would you like... He had begun, but then the queen jumped up and was off. Quick on his feet the bronze took off after her, barely a wing beat behind. He climbed high above the lake and then dove in, careful to not splash too much and even more careful to miss the gold. Once in the water he 'flew' to her, nose her, and then took off the other direction...
"Well then your queen needs to rise, yes?" He teased, he had heard the queen challange Ci, but he was teasing Ria. A smile came to his face as he saw Ci dive into the water and then tempt the queen into a game of chase. "I do agree. No I do not mind helping you search the records once this mess is taken care of." She may like it, but he didn't he liked to be clean shaven and presentable...

Henareth blew bubbles to the surface as she hummed in pleasure at his following, and doubly pleased because he was in fine spirits. With the nuzzle and then off. She was getting excited now, a good chase to loosen the muscles and dirt from her hide. She gave him a little bit of a go before she was after him. Underwater was harder to fly in that air she mused, but the concepts were the same. Making full use of her wings and tail, she swam in great loops and twirls and she chased. At the far side of the lake she reached out with her snout as she caught up and came up beside him. In a tender touch, she stroke the length of his body, from wing joint to cheek, with her triangular head.
Ria smiled slyly at S'nar as he mentioned the flight. He wasn't being possessive, smug, or arrogant in mentioning it, merely pointing out a solution. "All in good time, Bronze Rider." She winked at him to take the seriousness from her words and drained her klah mug. Henareth's actions flashed in Ria's eyes and she quickly set the cup down on the table and stood. She smiled widely to mask the shock she felt at her dragon's tender motions to the bronze, "Once you feel well groomed, join me in the record room."

He almost made it to the other side of the massive lake when she brushed his side with just the lightest touch. Cinenth bugled slightly flipped over himself and took off after her, maybe he could prove himself here in this element and then when in the sky he'd have no problem. He kept his wing beats short to give her a large lead he then lengthened the strokes and caught her. He nuzzled her then shot out of the water and into the air and angled toward the eye rocks...
S'nar took a moment to see though his dragons eyes and he saw water and then sky and then the eye rocks, Ci don't He knew his dragon well and was frowning, but then he smiled because Ci was tempting the queen not testing her. The bronze was known to test other dragons.
"Ah true, but if you wish to give some of your duties up then maybe you should coax your queen some." he was still teasing her. He knew that you couldn't rush this kind of thing. He finished off the klah pitcher and then stood, before she could and he offered his hand to her as she rose. He had been affected by the dragon's as well and he leaned to Ria's ear "Just a hint queen rider. Learn to block your dragon at times." he said before standing at back off a step. "That I will. I will see you in a few." he told her as he spun on his heel and left the dining area.
((If you want to you can post in the records room))
