CHARACTER INFO
Character Name: S'nar
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight as an arrow
Rank:
Craft Specialty:
Residence: Bender Weyr
Appearance: Because of S’nar’s young age, his body is still somewhat on the childish side. He is rather short –only an inch or two taller than most women, 5'4" to be precise- and his limbs look as if they have yet to really thicken up. Although he has only a light tan, S’nar has heavy freckles mostly clustered around his shoulders and arms. His face however, has only a few across his checks and nose. These freckles do vary a bit with the season, adding more on during the summer instead of tanning further. As for his build, for the most part it is rather average although in a few ways he does seem to be a bit more on the lean side for now. S’nar hair is a light shade of blonde, with a few streaks of almost pair white hair tossed up in his locks. As for the length, it is rather short and he has a fondness for spiking it when he has the time. His eyes have a bit more color to them, being a mixture of a coppery green and light blue. Because S’nar is short, his posture is always erect in the hopes he will not loose anymore height. He is almost always well groomed, not allowing facial hair to grow for more than a day or two. Mind you, he hates this stumble so it will not stay on his face for very long. Due to his color blindness, S’nar usually tries to have simple riding clothes that cannot clash. However from time to time he can slip up, resulting in him wearing an odd combination of colors.
Personality: Although S’nar may look young for his age physically, he is rather mature. Well, in some ways. He dose have a near endless supply of energy and can often be found fidgeting when there is nothing for him to do. His attention span could also use some lengthening but S’nar really only seems to forget about things that he deems meaningless or boring. Despite his selective memory and childish hyperness, S’nar does have a serious side. Of course it is best to say that he works hard and plays harder. When with his flight, S’nar will ‘straighten’ up until the task at hand is done. However, his work can sometimes interest him especially if it involves a serious mental problem. But once the threat is gone and all the drills are finished, no matter how tired S’nar is he has to go out and wind down with some foolish activity. S’nar has a fondness for being a clever smart-aleck but this really only stems from the fact that he is well educated and knows it. S’nar is more geared towards pack mentality but has a strong distaste for being a follower. Because of this, he would rather often go at things alone rather than be strapped down with someone of higher rank. His view on rules is sketchy at best, and he generally seems to try and have one set of laws for himself and another set for everyone else. He is ambitious however and can usually suppress a few of his qualities for a short time if it can serve him in his long term plan for power.
History: S’nar grew up as a Weyrbrat. While he had little clue of just who his parents were, that mattered little. What truly counted that he wanted to succeed on his own merit. As a child he was always annoying the dragon riders, trying to learn the basics in theory before he would be given the chance to impress a dragon. He would run food to the riders, deliver messages and do almost whatever task they would toss to him. When a clutch was laid S'nar took full advantage of it, but was left standing on the sands.
Furious, he turned his rage towards books searching for anything that would give him advice about impressing a dragon. It would be a long, tedious two turns before he was allowed back onto the hot sands. This time the egg count was even lower, but the colors were of the higher ranks. There was but one green, two browns, one bronze and a single golden egg. Obviously the Queen’s egg interested him little. But the shiny brass egg attracted his hopes more than anything else. His egg was actually the last to hatch, leaving S’nar among a sea of hopeful young men like himself. But fate was kind to him, binding S’nar to Cinenth at the age of just twelve turns. The training was a bit difficult for the two, mainly due to S’nar’s young age. However, he kept his frustrations internal and learned to make up for this by working ahead. S’nar ignored his Weyrling Master’s orders and did begin not only to go between without supervaliance but back in time in short bursts. Once they finished their training, S’nar had to act as a messenger for several years before he reached the age of maturity.

DRAGON INFO - IF APPLICABLE
Name: Cinenth
Color: Bronze
Age: 6 turns
Appearance: While not the largest bronze around, Cinenth could hardly be called small. His build is long and lean, with wings that place more emphasis on power than speed. Cinenth is more of a sprinter when it comes to flying, taking large leads and then gliding for a few seconds to regain his strength before creating another burst of speed. His color is rather uneven, with the lightest sections being on his limbs and wings.
Personality: Any dragon that chooses a Weyrbrat like S'nar to be his rider must have some sense of humor. Cinenth actually has a rather fine sense of humor, especially when it comes to irony. The dragon is much more interested in chasing the other gender than his rider, following the rise of each green and gold. Most of the time he chases dragons for the fun of it and when it comes to the greens, he often pulls himself out of the race before the green chooses a dragon. Cinenth has to be seen and in the center of attention, but he is less goal oriented than his rider. His would rather judge his actions in context to his past ones, rather than the rest of the crowd. Cinenth has a bad tendency to act like the whole world is his friend, being social even when the other dragon is obviously interested in just ripping his throat out to silence his chattering mouth.
