A site based off of The Dragonriders of Pern® series (by Anne McCaffrey), is centered in an unique region of Pern:
Rugged.
Bordered on one side by mountains, by other, a sea, Rugged Hold, relies on the Weyr to protect it from the menance of Threadfall. The weyr was trying to settle in to the new comand of the young weyrwoman Briari and her first weyrmate T'mas who won in the first mating flight. Over a year has passed since that first clutch hatched and Amorith was due to rise again. The Hold, Hall, and Weyr have been struck down by a sickness that could not be curred. T'mas, in the hight of his health was killed by this viralent disease, sending Amorith into a greaf stricken matting. V'sik won Briari and became weyrleader. Grief was to much for her and, in the end Briari succum as well, taking Amorith with her before the eggs were clutched. Shannon with Golden Samanth have been thrust into the position of weyrwoman. V'sik still leads untill Samanth rises to mate.
This site needs lots of active, dedicated members. Many high positions are open and for the taking. For a limited time only, you can join as an already-Impressed dragonrider!
