"Aye it is a few hours away. We also need the master crafters and possibly a scribe." He watched her walk around as he got his stuff together. He dressed as she talked about the cords. He pulled his tunic on "Maybe, but I think it is better for a weyrleader to make his own and then his experience as leader shows as his skill at cord making gets better. I already know where some dyed cords are and I've always made my own cords, so it shouldn't take too long. Also i think we need to teach the candidates code of conduct so i think it would be best to have Henareth send the browns in about 3 or 4 hours." He finished as he pulled his boots on. He was old fashtioned and liked to make his own stuff. "Come one." he said like a young kid as he grabbed her arm and bounded off toward the store rooms...

Ria clutched at his hand and ran forward, laughing she tried to keep up. She pulled him to a stop at the ledge, still laughing. He made her forget about her middle years, but rushing headlong down the steps didn't seem to be the wisest of ideas. With carefree grace she ducked under his arm and pulled it around her shoulders, snuggling into his warm side. As she walked slowly down the steps with him she smiled at him, "I do agree that you must make your own, but will you be able to complete a set before we go to the cantidates? We must do that shortly if we are going to meet with the others in three or four hours. Do you remember the scribe from Fort? The one with the fire-lizard? I will have him come with the dragon that picks up Lord Mentoe. The dragons will pick up the master crafters along with the lords. I think that I will send a bronze for the Fort contigent seeings as they will have another passenger." Henareth dear, please inform the weyrlingmaster that we are going to talk to the cantidates. Have him rouse them if they are not already out of bed. I can't expect them to be up at the crack of dawn, with no dragonets to care for.

He half-heartedly frowned when she slowed him down, but he knew she was right, but she did speed their steps up slightly down the stairs, "Possibly, but just incase would you like to run to the council chambers and grabs me a new looking one?" He asked her and then turned to head toward the supply chambers. "Yes I remember him and I do think it would be a good idea to invite him. Yes a bronze would be best for Lord Mentoe. I would suggest B'dob. Now I must go try to make a cord." Cinenth you lazy bum wake up and make sure the candidates are ready.

Ria smiled as he turned to go find the coards that he would need to start his own set. She stood a little taller and planted a kiss before she sprinted the last couple of stepps, ran around the two dragon where they lay and ran full out into the councel chamber. She absolutely hated the cubord that she knew had the coards in it. THe catch was iritating and difficult to deal with when her hands shook from excitement. The catch soon yealded to her hands and she pulled open the drawr. The newest set lay on top but it was not the best. That set had been worn extencively, though the older ones were in better shape because they had been made in quick succession and hadn't seen more than a weeks worth of wair. It was one of these she grabbed before she walked up, at a slower pace, to the living quarters. She guessed that he would meet her there before they went to inspect the cantidates.
Henareth raised her head from her paws as her rider addressed her and snorted, They will need to get into the practice if they are to impress. She sent the message anyway. As S'nar gave Cinenth the same instructions she swung her head around and looked at him. For once, she actualy adressed S'nar, Unnessisary, S'nar. I have already spoken to him.
OOC:// Amber, do you want to start a new thread in the cantidate barracks?
